From 25 to 27 October 2023, an international conference organized by Major Cities of Europe will be held in Prato, at the "Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art", aimed at managers, political decision makers, experts and operators of Local Administrations from all over Europe, on the topic of innovation.
The conference is not just about the review of best practices but about, sharing, debating, and questioning. The objective is to give each participant the opportunity to enrich their professional background, to develop new ideas and collaborations and to promote exchanges of experiences on the use of modern technologies.
More than 200 participants from all over Europe are expected to join the event.

Prato has been an official member since 2011, together with other Italian cities, of Major Cities of Europe, a non-profit association of European Cities and Regions. We are committed to the innovation of the local public administration and citizen services by leveraging modern technologies. Our objective is sharing the international experiences, projects, strategies, and solutions while developing skills and improve the efficiency and the effectiveness of Local Governments. We share experiences in implementing new services that facilitate the life of citizens, in developing the Economy and a Green and Sustainable Society for the wellbeing of the local communities.
