Town Hall
The museum path
inside the Town
Hall is organized according to an itinerary that crosses the
entire first floor of the palace, from the most ancient nucleus corresponding
to the old Town Council Hall, to the chapel of the palace, up to the recently
restored wing.
The collection of paintings preserved at the Town Hall (Picture Gallery), constituting a detached section of the collections of the Town Museum, dates back to the beginning of the Sixteenth century.
The collection was later on enriched steadily and systematically.
The main subject of the current exhibition is dedicated principally to the genre of portrait in its various implications.
